Digital License – Bright Angel Point

The view from Bright Angel Point on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is one of the best views I have ever seen, second only to Toroweap. The mesmerizing scene of the white and red layers of stone glistening in the morning sunlight is truly inspiring.

The North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is almost the opposite of the South Rim in every aspect. It sees a lot fewer crowds, is located in a pine forest, and is closed in the winter. The North Rim is over 1,000 ft higher than the South Rim, and its vibe is slow and relaxing. The National Park Service describes the North Rim of the Grand Canyon as a great destination for those who prefer the road less traveled. Only 10% of all Grand Canyon visitors make it to the Other Side of the Grand Canyon.

Location: Bright Angel Point on the North Rim; Grand Canyon National Park.
